Black, Male, November 17, 2005 (Trojan Cruze Rk Onesharpcooki) Racing for Plum Creek Kennel, Inc. Trained by Ray Brownlee
Owned by Mary Robinette |
Bringingittolife is currently on a winning streak, winning his last two races. Trainer Ray Brownlee said, "If he doesn't win in the Semi-Finals, then Plum Creek does not get four greyhounds in the Finals." With that Bringingittolife would have to be the MVG (Most
Valuable
Greyhound) for the Plum Creek. He will race out of the #2 post position and is an Iowa Bred Greyhound.

DOUBT FREE
BR Earnings: $114,673

Black, Female, June 19, 2005 (Flare Gun Future Bride)
Racing for Plum Creek Kennel, Inc.
Trained by Ray Brownlee
Owned by Mary Robinette |
Doubt Free finished fourth in the 2007 $450,000 Iowa Breeders Classic. This is the first stakes race since the I.B.C. that she has been eligible to participate in. She won the second and third rounds and never finished worst than fourth. Doubt Free is the only female and the lightest greyhound in the race. She is the princess of the race. Earning $114,673 so far at Bluffs Run, she could be called the queen. When you place your wager on her will you have your doubts? Or will you be Doubt Free? She will race out of the #8 post position and is an Iowa Bred Greyhound.

ROOKIE MCQUEEN
BR Earnings: $18,291
BR Life Stats: (24-5-7-4-1)
White Black, Male, October 26, 2005 (Flying Penske B's Royal Try)
Racing for Plum Creek Kennel, Inc.
Trained by Ray Brownlee
Owned by David Robinette |
Rookie Mcqueen has not won a race since the first round of the $60,000 Horseshoe Challenge, prior to that you have to go back two months to find his next win. He may not win a lot but he will hit the board. Out of his 19 starts this year he has hit the board 14 times. Rookie Mcqueen is the rookie in the race. With only 24 career starts at Bluffs Run, he may still be getting acclimated to his new home. Dont be deceived with his Rookie status at Bluffs Run, because Rookie Mcqueen is not a rookie when it comes to racing in stakes races. Rookie Mcqueen came to Bluffs Run from Dubuque where he raced in a couple of stakes races. He will race out of the #1 post position and is an Iowa Bred Greyhound.

BOW SPOTLITE
BR Earnings: $54,324
BR Life Stats: 91-46-10-8-11
Red Fawn Male, May 1, 2005 (Clappin Thunder Bow Tidbits)
Racing for Blake & Black Kennel
Trained by Linda Willey
Owned by Neal Blake |
Track win leader in 2007 with 35 wins, Bow Spotlite is bringing the most experience when it comes to races at Bluffs Run. His career at Bluffs Run is 91 Starts, 46 wins, 10 seconds, 8 thirds and 11 fourths. With 82% in the money, this future Bluffs Run Hall of Famer is only missing one thing from his impressive resume at Bluffs Run, a stakes race victory. However the last stakes race Bow Spotlite, the $60,000 Bluffs Run Championship, he finished 6th. Winning this race would be a great belated birthday present. The post position draw is done by having a kennel representative draw a number out of a cup with the I.R.G.C. present. Trainer Linda Willey once again drew the #5 post position.

KOLBY CAN
BR Earnings: $53,420

Fawn, Male, April 8, 2005 (Kiowa Sweet Trey Kaylee Bob)
Racing for Wilhite Kennel

Kolby Can is an Iowa Bred greyhound and the oldest greyhound in the race. Maybe he will be like fine wine, better with age. In the photo he looks like he is getting ready to attack like a snake. He will race out of the #4 post position.

The Bartley Corporation has two greyhounds in the final field. However they did not participate in the post position draw and the photos.
