The Semi-Finals are complete and we now have the final eight for the $500,000 Iowa Breeders Classic. It took 39 points to make it into the finals.

The $500,000 Iowa Breeders Classic is the biggest race in the country. Over the past 24 years the Iowa Breeders Classic has had a total purse of $5,625,000.

This year we will hold the post position draw in the Champions Clubhouse on Wednesday, November 4, between races 1 through 8. If you are unable to make the post position draw, don’t worry, we will be simulcasting the post position draw for everyone to see.

Here are the final eight in the order:
PG TIGER 53 points
NATURAL TALENT 46 points – tie breaker was fastest time 29.84
PJ’S SICILY SUN 46 points – tie breaker was fastest time 29.96
UNBELIEVABLERIDE 42 points
JACK BE GOOD 41 points tie breaker was most wins (2)
BOB’S RADIOFLYER 41 points tie breaker was most wins (1)
BOC’S SKIPPYLOU 40 points
JAYHAWK NINE 39 points

All ties to make the final eight field and during the qualifying rounds (based on 2009 Iowa Breeders Classic performance) were broken as follows:
1. Most Wins during Qualifying Rounds
2. Most Places during Qualifying Rounds
3. Most Shows during Qualifying Rounds
4. Most Fourths during Qualifying Rounds
5. Fastest Race Time during Qualifying Rounds
6. Random Draw
